Countless fic, art, recs, pictures, experiences, and joyous moments.

It's been an absolute honor for me to have been part of this journey for over 13 of those years.

As all good things, though, this too much come to an end. It pains me to say, but I think it's time for this journey to come to a close. I cherish every single moment I've spent here and how much it's brought me.

I hope the previous mods that have left me this baby are okay with my decision but I have a feeling they would be.

I am forever indebted to my co-mods for the past couple of years, [personal profile] trendykitty and [personal profile] candygramme for believing in the little engine that could and making the Newsletter bright and beautiful and riding once again.

I thank every single fan that has supported us, that has given us feedback in any way, that has boosted our name. You guys are what kept us going.

parting words from TK )

I wish you the absolute best of fandom joy. I know Supernatural fandom will continue to thrive and I'm glad our little newsletter was able to be part of the behemoth entity that is this fan base.

Please continue to enable goodness, happiness, sparks of laughter, and a ton of love.

Love always,
A

I don't think this has ever been done here, but we need help, and since fandom is awesome, we're hoping you can help!

We've been doing pretty well with coders, collecting them from our flists and always having enough, but we have come to a point where we need new coders!

(I have copied and pasted some of this from [livejournal.com profile] waterofthemoon because she is awesome :D)

The coders are the people who actually put together the [livejournal.com profile] spnnewsletter every night for the joy and edification of fandom. We take links from all over SPN fandom (handily compiled into one reading list), regardless of... most things, really, as long as they meet our header guidelines. It's not a recs list, and it's not like some other newsletters that code only a representative sample of fics/art/etc. Just code the stuff in front of you.

While modding/previous community involvement is preferred, it's not required. Do you have:

1. Basic, basic HTML skills. (Can you make a link? Can you make a [livejournal.com profile] username?)
2. Ability to understand, enforce, and live and die by the laws of the land.
3. A few hours one night a week to compile the newsletter. Currently, we're trying to find a permanent coder for Friday nights, but if you really want to do it and that night doesn't work, we might be able to rearrange people.
4. If you are even considering signing up, please make sure you are for sure available and willing for the foreseeable future.

And we will HELP. There's a template, there are all kinds of useful tricks to make things go faster, and we offer on the job training services. Plus, you get to be part of the most useful club in SPN fandom. Win win!

If interested, please leave a comment here with your e-mail or get in touch with me some other way :D Comments will be screened and I won't be replying to them here, so please leave me an e-mail I can reach you at OR PM/e-mail me yourself :)

Thank you!
